She also emphasizes gentle and understated methods for people to follow that can contribute to social justice causes that can be highly impactful.

BIO
Dorcas Cheng-Tozun is a writer, editor, speaker, and communications consultant with nearly twenty years of experience in the nonprofit and social enterprise fields. She served as the first communications director at d.light, a prominent social enterprise, and has provided communications consulting to social-benefit companies globally. Cheng-Tozun is also the author of Let There d.light: How One Social Enterprise Brought Solar Products to 100 Million People (2021) and Start, Love, Repeat: How to Stay in Love with Your Entrepreneur in a Crazy Start-up World (2017). She previously wrote for Inc.com and her work has been published in various outlets including The Wall Street Journal, Christianity Today, Image Journal, and others in the U.S., Asia, and Africa. Cheng-Tozun earned a BA in communication and an MA in sociology from Stanford University, as well as a professional editing certificate from the University of California, Berkeley. She currently serves as the editorial director of PAX, a Christian nonprofit focused on inspiring and empowering the next generation of BIPOC contemplative activists, and also teaches social innovation at Valley Christian Schools.
